Charles Hill

Charles Hill began his musical career as a band manager before joining The Unique Band NYC in 2016 as a drummer. He soon discovered his passion for singing, which propelled him to new heights within the group. Known for his soulful voice and captivating performances, Charles brings a timeless quality to every show, resonating deeply with audiences. His dedication to his craft and ability to connect with listeners have established him as a standout talent in the music industry. Charles has performed at numerous prestigious venues and events, earning acclaim for his dynamic stage presence. His musical versatility allows him to excel in a variety of genres, from classic soul to contemporary hits. Ms. Bhambii

Ms. Bhambii is a dynamic and accomplished musician, recognized for her soulful performances and vibrant stage presence. LaQuana Miller

LaQuanna Miller is a talented musician and vocalist whose passion for music began at the age of seven, when she started playing drums and singing in church, inspired by her mother, a gifted organist, choir director, and singer. LaQuana is from a family of accomplished musicians. LaQuanna recorded her first song at just twelve years old and has since built an impressive career, including singing background vocals for Mariah Carey and collaborating with renowned artists such as Michelle Weeks and Dawn Tallman on the single "We're Gonna Make It." She has also worked with Miss Jones of Hot 97, was a member of the Sony Records-signed group "Complex" at eighteen, and has performed with notable bands including Circuit, Maximum Level Band, and "Silkee Smooth Band", showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft. Her dynamic stage presence and soulful voice have captivated audiences at corporate events, festivals, and private functions. LaQuanna is dedicated to mentoring young musicians, sharing her experience and passion for music with the next generation. She continues to expand her repertoire, exploring various genres and collaborating with artists worldwide. In addition to her musical pursuits, LaQuanna is committed to community outreach through music education and performance. Her unwavering dedication and talent have established her as a respected figure in the music industry.

Alicia Nicole

Alicia Nicole is a dedicated musician whose passion for music began at an early age. She plays the piano, developed her vocal abilities independently, and earned acceptance to the renowned Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School. Alicia’s journey, marked by resilience and continuous growth, includes studies in engineering, auditions for major talent shows, and a flourishing role with The Unique Band NYC, where she excels as a songwriter, background vocalist, and performer. Alicia has performed at various venues across New York City, such as American Idol and The Voice, captivating audiences with her dynamic stage presence. She is recognized for her versatility, seamlessly blending genres and styles in her music. Alicia is committed to continuous artistic development, regularly collaborating with fellow musicians and producers. Her dedication to her craft has earned her a loyal following and critical acclaim. David Key

David Key is the founder and leader of The Unique Band NYC. Dave has over thirty years of experience playing the bass guitar. David brings a distinct "funk" sound to the group. David ensures the band is well-organized and the music sounds perfect before each performance. During his time with the band, David and his brother John decided to expand their talents, transforming the band into a ten-piece ensemble. David is the driving force and backbone of The Unique Band NYC. David's vision and commitment have played a pivotal role in the band’s ongoing success and growth. He is highly respected for his musical expertise and ability to inspire fellow musicians. David has led the band through numerous acclaimed performances at prestigious venues. His dedication to mentoring younger artists has helped shape the next generation of talent within the group. David's passion for music and leadership continues to set a high standard for excellence in The Unique Band NYC.

John Key

John Keys serves as the Musical Director of The Unique Band NYC. With extensive experience in the music business, he has collaborated with numerous bands to enhance their musical offerings. John is known for his innovative arrangements and captivating performances. He brings a unique and inspiring perspective to the members. He selects and arranges music to ensure outstanding performances and coordinates with business managers to schedule shows and special events. John’s leadership has been instrumental in elevating the band’s musical standards and reputation. He has received recognition for his exceptional talent in both live and studio settings. John is committed to fostering a collaborative and creative environment for all members. His dedication to excellence is reflected in the band’s consistently high-energy performances. John’s passion for music and teaching abilities, along with his mentorship, continues to inspire his colleagues.

Brandon Key

Brandon is the youngest member of The Unique Band NYC. Brandon is a highly motivated drummer/percussionist. He can perform across various musical genres, and his exceptional passion for drumming is truly remarkable. Brandon's musical talent has made him a sought-after performer. His interest in drumming began at home, where he was mentored by his father. Brandon is currently enrolled in a music school in the Bronx, New York. He aims to become a professional drummer while furthering his education to achieve success in his musical career. Brandon has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and has played at Yankee Stadium three times with the MWAM Children's Band.

James Holly

James Holly is a highly accomplished keyboard player who graduated from the esteemed Juilliard School of Music in New York. Holly's nickname, "Hollywood," brings a wealth of experience and a passion for music. James performed with a variety of bands, showcasing versatility that spans multiple genres. James lends his exceptional skills to elevate the sounds and creative energy for the band. James is known for a distinctive playing style, which he infuses into each performance with innovative melodies and unique sounds that captivate audiences. In addition, James is dedicated to sharing his musical talent with the community, playing at his church on Sunday morning services and special events. Holly's commitment to music, creativity, and collaboration continues to inspire fellow musicians and audiences, solidifying their reputation as a dynamic force in the music scene. James has received accolades for his outstanding musicianship and contributions to various musical projects. His leadership and collaborative approach have made him a sought-after musician in the industry. James’s unwavering dedication to his art continues to set a high standard for excellence in every performance.

Wayne Bollin

Wayne's musical journey began at age thirteen, when he discovered his passion for playing the organ and piano. Wayne enrolled at the Miller School of Music in Jamaica, Queens, New York, where he studied alongside talented individuals, such as the renowned artist and actor Dana E. Owens, known as "Queen Latifah". Seeking to refine his skills, Wayne has played in various churches across the five boroughs, gaining invaluable experience and fine-tuning his musical style. Wayne has showcased his talent by performing popular tracks from legends like Fred Hammond and Herbie Hancock. In 2023, Wayne joined The Unique NYC Band, delivering high-energy performances and a distinctive sound. His exceptional musical talents captivate audiences with a lasting impact. He is recognized for his creative arrangements and ability to adapt to diverse musical settings. Wayne’s commitment to excellence is evident in his continuous pursuit of new techniques and styles. His collaborative spirit has made him a valued member of every ensemble he joins. Wayne’s passion for music and dedication to his craft continue to inspire both audiences and fellow musicians.

Hopton Anderson

Hopton Anderson, affectionately known as "Big Rick", is the dynamic percussionist for The Unique Band NYC. He brings a wealth of experience to the stage. His skill set as a percussionist not only provides the foundation of rhythmic excellence but also adds depth and color to the band's overall sound. Rick joined The Unique Band NYC in 2020. Rick's journey into music began at a young age, inspired by the beats of classic Motown legends. His passion for rhythm has led him to hone his craft through various performances, studio recordings, and collaborations with well-known artists in the industry. He seamlessly blends traditional drumming techniques with modern influences, creating a unique style that resonates with audiences. His contributions are heard in music videos, where his energy and charisma shine through.
